Maddie Lord visited the site spring 2023 to see if suitable for a pond creation. Crispin arrived in May 2023 to dig some test digs to see the extent of the clay. Kinda Forest School children found the holes, some 2 meters deep, an adventure. Two ponds were mapped out with potential good clay base. With great forethought, Crispin joined the wood to the land but scraping back the blackthorn on the southern boundary, and with some donated blocks of wood, we created a bridge. Land and wood were joined.
