I vow to have all major projects and living spaces sorted by my 60th year. Two years of doingness.
With Paul Jackson, Jim and Stuart, we lay the 2nd woodland side, the western boundary, laying elm, hazel, blackthorn. Like the previous boundary, we did a double layer, of hedge, ditch hedge, weaving in dead tops into the laid hedge, and stacking cord wood. Stuart was a great help, taking some hazel coppice and working for us in return.
Afterwards Fairely came with her various families and friends (3 cars) and together we cleared up the brushwood, stacked the cords, ate soup.
