Mark Woolnaugh’s team, led by Lee, made the base of the shed, and put down hard standing, which will enable us to drive onto the site, and park on the useful hard standing, left by the WW2 hospital site.
With some help, I’ve created a stumpery, using the oak stumps I had dredged out of my ponds last year. I’m dedicating this area to Bob: Upside down ( like I’m feeling now) and out of the box as he was. What simple pleasures. Life seems very small these days, and these modest accomplishments give great joy. Naked upturned tree roots. Rumbles of silence from the Brothers, I fear, dread but do not know. Louise has yet to reach her crescendo.
