A light dusting of snow covered the ground of Kaliwood early a Friday morning. The team was fluid. Led by Paul, with Jim, John Esling, Mark, Pauline and Martin, was the first movement, and we broke into 2 groups: Paul and John beginning the hedge laying on the south east boundary and Pauline, Martin, Mark and I on dismantalling the hedge. With the four of us, it was done in an hour. Remarkable what a team can do.
David Green rocked up and cut 3 year old hazel wood with Mark filling a trailer. Kym, Jonas, Levan and Hazel cut up kindling and fed the fire.
John did some extreme laying with Elm, Ash and Maple, and finally some more conventional laying of hazel
Lunch of mushroom soup with cheese bought by Michael in side the cosy cabin.
