Halesworth Memorial Trees

I’ve begun to create a data set of Halesworth Memorial trees. It is clear some have lost their plaque dedications and some are fading and may need replacing. Halesworth Town Council would like to consider reinstating those of general assignation typically coronations, jubilee, national events etc.

If anyone has any information or knows of the family or backstory to the ones missing or faded, please let the family know. HTC can facilitate – although not pay – for a plaque replacement.

If people have further information to add to any of the individual ones here, please comment at the page bottom and I will incorporate.

    1. Thanks Jamie – I’d like to put out on Halesworth Community Forum to get response and background to some of the plaques which have disintegrated. What do you think to this idea? May there be a family sensitivity?
