We met for the first time this year, wading through the mud to the cabin. Here we had our work prepared. First was stripping the hazel whips which would be woven around the pond, to repair the fence originally made by John Esling, and definitely in need of repair. Chris and Clare made some replacement stakes out of the hazel poles.
We also talked about the land, and Rachel gave all a bare map of the field asking, what would you do, how would you plan out your 17 acres of land? A briefing page was drawn up which could be incorporated.
Naturally chai was served.
