The Lydham Oak is one of the largest girthed oaks in Europe, the World! With a 13-metre (42-feet) girth, this 1,000-year-old ancient oak pollard sits on land in Lydham, a small hamlet, close to the small Shropshire town (England) of Bishop’s Castle. Pictured here with this giant of the tree world is Tree Hunter Rob McBride.
