The dirty white caravan – an Arthur fix – was transformed into wood green. It’s gaudy caravanesque inside gutted to a single space and carpeted in London Savoy carpet. In October 2014 we towed it to the hard standing – it was the first object into the wood.

The first Green Van placement – on the hard standing at the entrance to the wood.

October 2016 Work on the wood cabin is starting next week. The small green caravan is moved by Dave and his tractor, with the help of strong MJ, to the ponds. It will offer shelter from the rain, and a warm place to eat hot soup, for Graham Norgate and Paul Jackson – the master wood builders. The oak felled and planked 2 years ago, resting, will be uncovered to see the light of day again and take on a new form.
