Jiggery pockery, was the operative word used by Chris, the master mover of large objects in small spaces. With his work horse landrover he towed the van (illegally) down the Beccles Road (Arthur and Stephen Ling on standby, me behind), down the track and into the wood. A few inches here to spare, he backed it onto the hard standing.
It is a 1970’s double axle wood, not plastic, van, with a fitting moss clad roof. (The price had tumbled from 9,000 to 2,000).
