It was a glorious warm sunshine day – rare these days of cold east and north winds necessitating fires still in June.
Michael came to wood sit while Pam and I went go off on our bikes to see a few of the gardens opened. Pam was a keen critic, and enormous fun to be with. A good ballast to a ticking off I got in the village hall.
Not many came to the wood, but those who did, gave nurture to both the wood and I. Having strangers visit allows me to see the wood through their innocent eyes, and not my usual eye finding all that I must do in it. Pam even bought us a cream tea back – the remnants here in the photograph.
