How fine it is to be invited to remember our ancestors, my mother, Barbara Josephine Wright, who urged me to eat vegetables and loved me, a father I never knew, my Uncle John so generous and steady, Sugata and Bob, who both challenged me in similar and different ways and left an uneasy silence, John Moss who I haven’t thought about in years, but now I do I smile and feel a warmth inside to know he is still inside my being, I am informed by his being.
