Kali’s song by Caroline Way

I once loved a dog
Or should I say — this dog loved me
We sat by the fire
Isn’t it good in Kaliwood

Rachel asks me to stay
And she says to me —‘I’m glad you’re here’
So I sniff around
as she rocks in her old wooden chair

I sit on my tail — biding my time —
her place is mine
I give her a lick— And then she says
go fetch your stick’

She told me she walked
every morning and started to laugh
And I felt so happy
I jumped up and started to bark

So when I awoke  – I’m not alone
I’ve found a home
Our wood has my name
Its understood — in Kali wood

I once found a wood
Or should I say –This wood found me
I loved the deep cool
Isn’t it good in Kaliwood

Rachel says ‘glad you’re here’
and she tells me to sit anywhere
so I look around
and found there an old wooden chair

I sat round the fire
under blue sky — drinking some chai
We talked until one – Then Rachel said
‘Lets have some fun

She said look at this
Now this morning its time to know trees!
I told her I didn’t
She said ‘So lets start to draw leaves!’

I  breath in quite slow—feeling a glow
breeze makes trees grow
Sit close to the fire
Isn’t it good in Kaliwood’
